After having contributed to my COVID-? collaborative project Reid Karris suggested that I make a duet album with him.
Of course I said yes and I'm very grateful to him.
Reid follows a very personal musical path. His free improvisations are a kind of art brut.
It was exciting to work with the sounds he sent me.
To contrast with Reid's noisy tracks I chose to use the very lyrical mohan veena.
As I did on the album made with Killick Hinds, I electronically processed certain sounds.
